Yoga Exercises And Basics
There is nothing more important to us at Love Yoga than your comfort. We want you to succeed in all your endeavors, especially including your yoga practice. A big part of finding comfort in yoga classes is knowing what’s coming, so here’s what you can expect in and how to prepare for your first class:
It’s important to have the necessities. We can provide mats, blankets, and blocks for use, but feel free to bring your own. Make sure to bring a water bottle! Wear comfortable clothes that are easy to move around in and malfunction-proof. It’s best to arrive five to ten minutes early to provide yourself time to settle in, change your clothes if necessary, and get used to the yoga studio space. Set your mat up somewhere that gives you plenty of room to move around.
Love Yoga is a no-judgement zone yoga studio. We support each other and want each other to have a pleasant session. The first thing we do in every one of our yoga classes is a slow warm-up. After that, we move into the bulk of the class (see class descriptions page for more details). We will end the class with a cool-down and Savasana.
After you pack up your things, if you still have questions or concerns, do not hesitate to ask your yoga instructor. We want you to get the most out of your yoga positions and practice. Enjoy the peace and calm that washes over you after a yoga session, but don’t be discouraged if you don’t notice it the first time.
We look forward to seeing you. Visit our “Classes” page to find the right class for you.
